Job Title: Kitchen Helper

Department: Kitchen

Reports To: Kitchen Manager

Summary:

The Kitchen Helper is responsible for assisting the kitchen staff in preparing and serving food, as well as maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing food items by washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing ingredients.
• Help to unload food deliveries and stock supplies.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Clean and maintain work areas, including floors, walls, and counters.
• Take out trash and dispose of waste properly.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Kitchen Manager.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a kitchen setting is preferred.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information:

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. Evening and weekend shifts may be required.
